Venom Blades
Venom blades are crafted from 100% carbon fiber using a blend of weaves (Twill 4×4, plain) and advanced “UV” epoxy resins, enhancing resistance to yellowing. The specific arrangement of fabrics within each blade is essential for performance, with the unique “X” configuration allowing for a graded stiffness—greater rigidity and explosiveness near the foot pocket for optimized kick response. This setup also reinforces the blade edges for added lateral stiffness.
The fabric combination in Venom blades ensures strength and responsiveness, maintaining optimal water displacement, rebound, and feedback in all directions. Designed for advanced divers, Venom blades perform excellently in both open water and pool settings. Their innovative dimensions (87 cm length x 19.5 cm width) and 25° angle maximize water displacement and effective kick range, minimizing dead spots and fully utilizing blade properties.
Venom blades are available in three stiffness levels:
– Soft: for freedivers up to 85 kg
– Medium: for freedivers 85-105 kg
– Hard: for freedivers over 105 kg
Suggested guidelines only; stiffness selection depends on factors like body type, kick technique, and intended use (extended swims, competitive diving, etc.)
Technical Data
Handcrafted high-performance blades made from carbon fiber and top-quality epoxy resins, produced through Vacuum Infusion Process (VIP). This method ensures uniform resin saturation, eliminating trapped air bubbles that could compromise strength, giving Venom blades increased durability and reliability. The precise resin amount also keeps the blades lightweight, enhancing carbon fiber’s tensile strength, elasticity, and recoil for explosive responsiveness and endurance.
